2021 Recertification beginning 7-14-2020

All US Soccer Instructors, Assessors, Assignors, and Referees require annual recertification.  All Instructors, Assessors, Assignors, and Referees are required to annually complete the US SafeSports online course, and all who are over the age of 18, by Florida law, must annually have a Risk Management (RM) background completed and the certificate must be on file in order to register each year.  FYSA’s GotSoccer website is the destination for the RM to be completed annually.

Grassroots Referee recertification is 100% online, and  opened on July 14, 2020.  Grassroots Futsal recertification is scheduled to open August 1, 2020.

Regional Referees have an annual fitness and online written test, on-field experience training, and other US Soccer mandated game requirements to successfully re-certify at their current referee grade.  Check the FLSRC calendar of events for places and times.

Assignors, Assessors, and Instructors have annual recertification requirements relative to their grades with classroom/online training and an online written test.  Assessors and Instructors check the FLSRC calendar of events for places and times.  Recertifying assignors need to contact the State Director of Assignors.

National, Professional and International Referees renew through the U.S. Soccer Federation Referee Program Office with the collaboration of the State Referee Administrator.

Emeritus Referees (National and State) have an online written test, must attend the Regional Referee recertification course, and complete other US Soccer mandated requirements to successfully re-certify for their emeritus referee grade.  Check the FLSRC calendar of events for places and times.

The brief generic video below explains the log in process to the FLSRC OMS system and how the systems supports the referee program administration.
