2018-19 Began MONDAY July 16th

The 2018-2019 Registration year began at 3:30 pm EDT  July 16th.  The Grade 8 new referee entry, 100% online,  became available.  Follow the appropriate link on the “Register” dropdown menu.  The Grade 8, 15, & 13 recertification courses opened noontime EDT July 23, 2018

Referee grades 5,6,7, and Instructor/Assessor recertification courses began on Saturday July 21st at the University of Tampa.  There are 3 additional recertification courses scheduled within the next 30 days:  Niceville Aug 4th, The Villages Aug 11th, and Stuart Aug 18th.  The fitness test timeline policy is posted in the Library and will be followed.  To register on FLSRC.ORG find the “Register” dropdown menu and click “annual recertification,” then click begin the annual recertification process.  You will be taken to our secure private portal and then member sign in.  The log in ID is your USSF ID number with an “R” in front of the first number.  Click forgot password and then the process will start for getting signed in, register and pay, then reserve a classroom seat.

Due to a FLSRC policy change, there will be limited reserved seating for all 5,6,7, & Instructor/Assessor recertifications courses.  We anticipate classes will fill  quickly.  All course fees will be paid online and must be paid in full in order to reserve a seat in the classroom.  Walk ups, walk ons, and payment in the classroom will not be accepted.

The 2018-19 Assignor recertification and new Assignor’s course will be offered ONLINE only and is set to open around August 4th.

Futsal Referee recertification and new Futsal Referee courses are planned to open around September 1st.

Referee Grade 8 to 7 upgrade classroom course is tentatively scheduled for August 24th – August 26th in conjunction with the Florida Elite Invitational at Jacksonville.  Referee coaches will be available for upgrade Referee assessments during the tournament at no charge to the Grade 7 candidates.  Specific details will be announced later but lodging will be provided for the 24th & 25th to each candidate.

Finally, as previously announced, the new online Referee Grade 7 to 6 upgrade course is scheduled to open for a period of 3 months beginning November 1st.

My daughter Sarah has been playing soccer since four years old and still playing competitive soccer here in Cape Coral, FL. She plays U15, 04’s. She is interested in referring Rec and wants to know what she needs to do and where to become a referee for grade 8. Again we live in Cape Coral, FL.

My son is interested in becoming a ref. He played for Florida Elite last year and will be playing again this year. There seems to be something wrong with the website. Clicking on new referee registration does not work.

Just moved to Florida from Idaho. I have been trying to register but the registration module, does not reflect my current USSF Grades. I am an State Emeritus, and State 5 Assessor. If there have been some changes, please advice.

If you just moved to Florida, then you must transfer before anything else can occur. Contact the Florida SRA. See contact page.

I already paid the $100 fee, and completed/passed all online lessons, aldo received an email with the approval of my registration. ((New Grade 8 Registration))

But I would like to know what is the next step. I will be buying the kits to be ready for the call…. But I would like some advice about the process, and how long it will take for that 1st game call.

I was delayed in starting my recertification process for 2019. The $50 late fee is a shock. How can I get this waived? $125 is a bit steep for registration cost especially when considering uniform and background check expenses and expectations that game fee income will be less than $500 for all of 2019.

Where are the FSR registration and clinic fees documented? I cannot find them using the SEARCH feature on this website.

Questions regarding recertification should be addressed to the Area Referee Administrator or Assistant ARA responsible for your location of residence.
